And they walked off into the sunset…

Published February 25, 2012 by Dreamreflector

People who have read this blog before may know, that one of my biggest dreams is to find a soul mate. Well actually, to be honest, I don’t really believe in soul mates. But rather, I believe that there are several people who could be soul mates, and it’s just a matter of finding one of those. But any way, today, right now actually, one of my daydreams from the love sector came to my mind. The dream about walking off into the sunset with some one special C:

I have seen countless sunsets, and I really think they are one of the most beautiful, yet simply romantic things there are. And to know, that they are purely the work of nature! Amazing. Sunsets are so dreamy. I dream of walking hand in hand on a beach at sunset. And about sitting close to some one at the end of a pier, with our feet dangling over the edge and into the water. And of course, about kissing under an old oak tree, listening to the birds quiet down, and falling a sleep, my head on his chest.

Here are a few sunset pictures by me C:

I really really hope I won’t have to walk into the sunset alone C:

This is a beautiful song fitted to the theme, “Grab the Sunset” by Hundreds It’s not the most cheery of songs, in fact one might interpret it rather darkly, but I find it mysteriously intriguing.

And a dream quote for today: “Everything starts as somebody’s daydream.” <3

Gaze in to the sunset! C:

Winter invasion

Published February 19, 2012 by Dreamreflector

Today I have a lot of work to do. I have to do my maths assignment and clean and cook and go for a jog and stretch and study biology and practise my singing and… Well you get the point. Somehow it seems that the more I have to do, the less I feel like doing it. And then when I don’t want to do the things I’m supposed to I automatically start to do something else entirely. :D I wonder if anyone else has the same problem. So today I have clipped my nails and done some daydreaming. And I have done none of the things I have to do.

I decided that I would do something somewhat useful as to convince myself that this time won’t go to waste. Therefore I thought I’d write you a blog post C: And for myself too, really, since I get so much from writing this blog. It truly is helpful to have something to channel my mind into. I mean into something that I actually enjoy.

So yesterday, we went to our summer cottage to see if everything was fine there. Since no one had been there after summer we had to walk a few hundred meters in knee-high unbeaten snow. It was pretty tiring I have to say :D But exercise is always good for you. The summer cottage was still standing proud -for the ramshackle little thing that it is, at least. The temperature inside was chilly and everything was covered with frost and ice crystals :D I found it rather beautiful. Maybe it was because of the fact that I had never seen frost inside the cottage before or the fact that I am so in love with that familiar little cabin, but I felt so happy skittering about in there with my camera. It was a place of quiet solitude and misunderstood beauty. The winter had invaded it and I followed.

Here are a few eyefuls for you to see, reflected through my camera lens:

The windows were completely covered with ice crystals

The ceiling and the wall of the summer cottage Sauna, looking frosty.

The tap of the Sauna. It lies above the sauna stove, on a container that holds water, so that the stove warms it nicely. Now there was no sign of warmth :D

The shower head, which is never in use :D

And the alternative method for the shower, a vat and a ladle. Rustic, I know. The water of course had frozen solid.

The ceiling in the living room, also coated in frost

A frosty door frame. Note the lavender coloured ceiling <3 It’s bold and it’s proud and I simply LOVE it!

A frosty pole on the fireplace, which is bright red as you may see C:

A few boxes in the bookshelf. And again everything’s embroided with ice crystals.

And finally a tribute to the decoration :D It’s not modern it’s not luxuries but it’s full of personality and it suits the place.

That’s how you should think about yourself too! You’re look is perfect as long as it matches who you are and you carry it off with pride. Never try to hide who you are or change yourself because some one doesn’t like your style. It’s their problem not yours, you are made perfect C:

Today’s dream quote: “There are no rules of architecture for a castle in the clouds.” <3

Be the best you can be – YOU! C:

Hi everybody!

I love animals! When I get my own place I will deffinetly get a dog, hopefully a sausage dog, because they are adorable. After thinking about that I decide that I would make a post about the best animal photos I’ve taken C: So enjoy!

Isn’t he the cutest thing!? C:

And look at the size of those eyes C: Alpacas are sooo cute

And my friends dog with her begging look C;

My grandparent’s cat C:

An unquestionably adorable baby gull C: He’s a bit sleepy

And finally a happy swan family C:

And a dream quote: “Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.” <3

Give nature some love, it’s on your side!

Blessings through raindrops

It’s a new day in paradice, by which of course I mean my dreamworld. Although that’s not really paradice either come to think of it. The paradice is gone for us, as you may know, but luckily heavens awaiting C: But back to my daily dreaming routine then. In the previous posts, I have been talking about the delicate matters of a first kiss. If you haven’t read them you might want to check them out, they are headlined “Dream beautiful, dream extreme” and “May the kiss be bliss”.

Today I have been thinking about the possibility of kissing in the rain. It really is a common cliche and standard stuff in romantic movies and such, and the Internet is flooded with pictures about happy smiling couples kissing away in the downpour. But really I can’t seem to get my head around the combo, I mean it’s rain! It’s cold and wet and sad. Where does the picture of romantic happiness come from? I mean rain is alright, when it’s just a light cooling drizzle at the end of a smoldering hot day in July. I get that. But what about the sping showers, or the half freezed raindrops in October that pinch your face and make your eyes water! Where’s the romance in that?

I mean I like rain. It can be beautiful, it gives nature a boost, it refreshes and revives. I don’t hate rain. I just fail to see the romantic aspect in it. And water in itself is necessery for life. I mean a normal woman is 60 prosent water! And water is habitat for many beautiful creatures like fish and coral and many birds C: And it creates the lakes that are the pride and joy of my country.

Here are a few wet photos I’ve taken, featuring water in different forms C:

A water strider in mid jump :D These guys are so amazing

My garden fountain C: It’s small but it makes such a difference.

A little fish <3

A sunset from one of our countryes many lakes. This one is about ten minutes from my house by foot. I just love it! Gives me inspiration, a place to relax and great photos.

Like the tittle says “blessing through raindrops”. I got the inspiration for this picture from this beautiful song by Laura Story

This really is an incredible song and very important to me <3

And here is a dream quote for today: “The best things in life are unseen, thats why we close our eyes when we kiss cry and dream.”

Step into the rain!

The summery meadows.. in my dreams :D

Okay so I thought I was going to keep some order in telling you all about my dreams but right now I’m ditching the kissing for a moment to dream about summer. It’s – 26 C today, which is about -15 F, aka insanely cold. No wonder I really miss summer! So I decided to ease my summer longing by sharing some of my most summery photographs C: Enjoy, I know I will!

Here’s the summery meadow I had in mind C;

A midsummer night <3 They say that night is full of magic. I still put seven flowers under my pillow every year, in the hope of seeing my future husband C;

Summer dew
